Jessy has over a decade of industry experience working as a product designer across platforms and sectors. Prior to Magic Leap, she worked with organizations committed to imaginging better systems like Collective Future, IDEO CoLab, Acumen Academy, Autodesk, Sidewalk Labs (an Alphabet company), Mayor Eric Garcetti's innovation team, and YC '15 health tech startup Akido Labs. She believes in the value of participatory design practices and is an advocate of strategic foresight as an approach to innovate responsibly within large organizations and communities.

Her personal design practice anticipates near-future implications of emerging technologies by engaging with communities and prototyping platforms and co-creation tools. As part of her decolonizing AR work, she co-organized a weekend-long Decolonialathon sponsored by Niantic.

In her spare time, Jessy mentors women looking to get into the XR space. She also recently founded the AWE Nite Mexico City chapter.
